Legendary vendace

Muikkuravintola Sampo is renowned for its nationally famous vendace dishes, but just as important are its long history and the unique, original atmosphere that has evolved over the decades. Sampo has operated under the same name, in the same building since it began its journey as a café in 1931.

Menu

Sampo’s menu offers vendace prepared in many different ways, for both small and hearty appetites. Vendace is available, for example, fried, smoked, as a soup, or even as a burger. In addition to vendace, the menu also includes items such as sausages, cutlets, and a vegetarian patty. The meal is finished with sweet desserts like crepes or traditional blueberry rye pie.

In addition, Sampo serves lunch on weekdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
